Piggyback Squared

It really is cute how our kids mimic the things we do (as long as what we do is cute). Lately, I've noticed Anna trying to copy another motherly aspect of my life. Everytime I strap Mathias to my back, Anna runs and gets her little leash/backpack (only used once for it's actual purpose) and snaps it on.

And yes, Jeanerbee, that is a Ergo I'm wearing. Oh, how I love that carrier! If I could recommend just one carrier, it would be an Ergo. It doesn't hurt my back like other carriers I have used. Also, it is nice to be able to use it in so many different positions (front, back, and hip). I'd like to wax eloquent here, but I'm just not that talented of a writer to do so. Just take my word for it that this is the best carrier I've ever used.

Such a cute picture, my favorite thing is that Mathias looks bigger than Anna.

Sarah you are SO cute!!! Love how you and Anna match too. Oh if only I'd known - we got a Baby Bjorn for Lucy because our other one gave up the ghost after 3 kids. But my back has been hurting so much!!! Maybe turning 30 has something to do with it. If we have more kids then I'll have to look into the Ergo!

Yay! He looks so great "on" you, lol. I love that Anna wants to follow in your babywearing footsteps =).

That is so cute! How much does your carrier hold? We're looking for a new one since Garrison no longer fits in his front pack. I miss it... I need one that is super comfy (yours looked really comfey) and can carry above 30 lbs. Any suggestions?

According to the website, the Ergo is "durability/strength tested up to 90 pounds". I didn't think the weight limit was so high, but there it is! Though, who in their right mind would carry a normal sixth grader around in one of those...

Great! I'm going to check out that one and then another one I think it was called a becco? I'm hoping I can find somewhere to try them on and see if I can use them. But mainly at this point it's for Justen he uses the pack tons more than I do. That's how Garrison gets to go feed at night, and he's getting tired of being so squished in his old one.
